The artists and vendors for this year will be Beth Bale —Watercolors, Lara O’Keefe — Pottery, Roberta Marasca —Jewelry, Cure Nursery — NC Native Plants, Ben Kapity — Blacksmithing, Michael Thompson — Woodturning, Karen Tiede — Fantastic Fabric Flowers, Gretchen Niver — Fused and Stained Glass & Tie-dyed Ts, Janice Rieves — Mosaic Sculpture and Lamps, Gretchen Kapity — Quilted Fabrics and Handmade Soaps and fairy hair!

Historic Downtown Apex – N Salem St & Center St Apex, NC
Head to downtown Apex for a pig cooking extravaganza, as pitmasters from around the country compete to design and create the most delicious in BBQ culinary experiences.
Over two days 48 teams will compete for a $12,000 monetary prize and you get to reap the benefits of their hard labor! These stellar teams will compete in chicken, ribs, beef brisket and pork competitions with grand champions moving on to compete in The Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational.
Yes, you read that right. This is a Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned event and subject to all the rules and judging of their events. The KCBS is the country’s leading authority on everything BBQ and part of the World Food Championship.
This event is sponsored by Apex Sunrise Rotary and serves as a fundraiser. While buying BBQ will cost you, the event itself is Free and open to all families! Live music, a beer garden, vendors and more will be on hand for your entertainment! Peak City Soundwill perform Friday, June 15 at 7:30 pm and catch other musical acts such as Major City Vice!
