Hot & Blue 2 Folk and Roots Revue and Spicy Wing Cook-Off

Hot & Blue Folk and Roots Revue is a high summer shindig that is a Blues, Folk and Roots Musical Revue and Spicy Wing Cook-off all rolled into one. Now into it’s second year Hot & Blue 2 will be going down on Sunday July 15th from 1PM – 5PM at the City Tap in Historic Pittsboro, NC.

If you have not been to The City Tap, you will want to check out their local eats, local brews and local music on a regular basis.

The live musical revue will start at 2PM and will end at 5PM. This years line-up includes from the Triad / Triangle area;

Cackalacky, Carr Amps, Small Museum of Folk Art, Mosaic and The City Tap have graciously sponsored Big Ron Performance for this years event.

Now lets talk wings you all. Last year’s Spicy Wing contest boasted 13 entries and its estimated that about 1000 wings were consumed by approximately 70 spicy wing loving judges – so please make sure ya bring a pretty good pile of wings!

This years Prize Bucket Sponsors are Cackalacky, Oscar Blues and New Horizons West so rev up them wing recipes!

In addition to all that Hot & Blue is pleased to announce that we are partnering again with the good folks at Cackalacky for a special CORA Food Pantry Raffle. Buy as many chances as you want to win a Cackalacky Gift Basket while helping to support the amazing work that CORA does for folks in need in our community.

Admission is free. Tips for the performers are appreciated. An appetite for spicy wings and a taste for ice cold beer is mandatory.
