The dog days of summer got you down? Than put this awesome event on the calendar and plan to be wowed by the array of local and regional artists represented in multiple mediums.

Description:

Dating back to the 1970s, the annual Cary Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival in Cary, North Carolina, is considered one of the largest juried art fairs in the country. The one-day extravaganza features dozens upon dozens of artists showcasing their talents in various media including: wood, sculpture, printmaking, photography, painting, mixed media, jewelry, glass, furniture, fiber/leather, drawing, digital art, clay. With various artists from NC as well as the rest of the south, this is a serious art fair with each media class chocked full of participants. Additional attractions include live musical performances, a kid’s world and concessions.
